Its a cold new year, and it is time to put that fall wardbrobe up on ebay and to present the new year with a whole new wardrobe of you. Do you love fashion? I sure do, this article will give some ideas about fashion, what's new, some facts about fashion and a few steps to become a fashion designer.

Sketching.

Fashion has changed and will keep changing since in first came in the scene, back when you had to wear a massive dress and wear a corset or even the Edwardian Styles. Lets just agree that in fashion history terms the time will never ever stand still.
Even though top fashion these days can be expensive, but if you don't have the money to pay 10,000 dollars for a dress don't worry. As long as you have the right mind you will look stunning either way.

A few things about fashion you might not know.

-Lets go back to the 19'th century, in 1914 was when the first bra was made, it was made by Mary Jacobs also known as Polly. Even though there was a lot of talk about who really did make it, but most people believe that Mary was the first to invent this wonderful new thing, that we these days pay a lot of money for.

-Believe it or not but not all fashion designers started out from the top spot, just look at Ralph Lauren's Polo empire, he started out making ties and selling them to stores like Bloomingdales.

-Coco Chanel, didn't start out well she was making her own hats but because she didn't have the 'I am rich stamp' no one wanted to by from here. Look at her collection now, absolutely stunning.

-French Connection, their tag name came out in 2001 as 'FCUK' how did they find it?
I bet you wonder so did I, it was found by the fax machine in their UK store when one they day got a fax from Hong Kong.

There was just a few of them, which I thought I would share with you guys.

Interested in becoming a fashion designer? Ever since you were a child, were you making clothes for your Barbie dolls, instead of playing with your friends. Maybe you were drawing sketches in your math book of your new ideas for a swim wear. Cutting your clothes and making your own. Then you sure are destined to become a fanshion designer.
There are so many ways to start it out, as long as you are ready to fight for a while.

Things you can do:
-Search for a course online, there are lots of them. Just go on Goolge and type in on the search.
-Talk to some Fashion schools maybe go over seas.
-If you can draw, then make a few sketches and put them up on the net.
- Go to a fabric store buy a manikin and some fabric and start designing and when you got something good, put it up on Ebay and you might just be starting you own line right there.

London Fashion week.

Its a cold new year, and it is time to put that fall wardbrobe up on ebay and to present the new year with a whole new wardrobe of you.
Yes, there are some new things coming up, because it is a new year and designers are all fighting for the clothes who will make the best spring collection.

So to let you in on the spring collections coming up.
70's are back but the more sophisticated 70's.
Also, the military colours and a hardcore look is in, biker, leather kind of look.
I know Punk was here last year as well, but the people just cant get enough of it, the crazy colours, and 'unmatching clothes' is still back on in spring 2011.
Stripes are also still here, they kind of come and go.
The funny one that I think is in this years Spring collection is the capri pants. Yes I know they are back and a lot of people didn't use to like them but they are back for good.
I am starting to love this these old colours again, such as dark green, beige, grey and dark brown. These colours seem to be flying around this year.
