Most crafters, and crocheters in particular, are constantly searching for new patterns to challenge their skills and add a new creation to their repertoire. Crochet patterns for making boxes and containers may not be the most difficult patterns to complete, but they are diverse in their attributes and quite useful in organizing one's life.
