Crochet boxes and containers can be quite unusual in design

Most crafters, and crocheters in particular, are constantly searching for new patterns to challenge their skills and add a new creation to their repertoire. Crochet patterns for making boxes and containers may not be the most difficult patterns to complete, but they are diverse in their attributes and quite useful in organizing one's life. All that is really required of a crafter is a desire to create a beautiful item and the ability to follow directions to a successful conclusion, and a wonderful crochet box or container is within reach.

Crocheted boxes and containers make for an excellent holder for giving gifts, as party favors, or just for a means to keeping one's home in order for storing small items.
