Faunagraphic Street Art
Sarah Yates, or FaunaGraphic, as she is better known, is the pick of the few female graffiti artists in the UK, only 18 years old when this talented Yorkshire girl got started, working on her own alone for the first 7 months, but in no time at all, her work was gracing walls in many locations, as well as being found on clothing, snowboards, and being exhibited.

When not on spray painting a new creation, Sarah loves to take pictures, enjoys outdoor sports and any adrenaline-pumping activity, really, including exploration. Her incredible works have been exhibited at various galleries, including Sheffield, London and Cyprus, though she hopes to give shows around the world, in time.

In total, this prolific young lady has produced around ninety pieces, all on different walls, though there have been other pieces that were commissioned, and she also managed to create forty canvas-based works that were put up for sale, though the many live events at which she has painted, and the jamming session works come on top of all that!

Walls and other media have been decorated in her unique style in countries as diverse as Adelaide, Miami and Athens, though these are but three of many places in which her work can be viewed. Derelict walls, in neglected places are her favorites,, though middle of the city walls, seen by many, also attract her attention, working all the time with spray-paint and emulsions!
Each piece of work will need her to spend between half-an-hour and three full days, depending on the complexity, and whether or not she has permission to be there. She has, with her own inimitable style, full of vibrant colors, yet surprisingly delicate in the execution, the onlooker finding themselves seeing natural beauty placed into urban landscapes, a breath of beautifully fresh air.
Faunagraphic Five
Sarah grew up in a picturesque area of Yorkshire, something reflected in her art work, mixing fantasy with surreal animals in Disney-esque surroundings. Faunagraphic, is one of a new breed of modern artist, not following trends, but setting them, enjoying an international career, fulfilling commercial commissions, competing at world-wide spray jams , as well as working hand in hand with renowned graffiti artist Rocket01.
On top of all that, Sarah is Creative Director of the FringeFly urban talent collective. Her most loved subjects for art are all found in nature, though her studio is her main space for creating new work. She calls herself an eco-artist, having for years been a dedicated recycler, and very supportive towards conservation projects.

Her upbringing taught her to make things last, so her work in environments which have been left to decay seems as natural as her trying, to attract clients for whom an environmentally understanding artist is important.
She took her artistic name from the graphic designing she once did, and the fauna she so loves in nature, and in an amazingly apt way, it really tell the story of her incredible talent and stunningly beautiful work. What a wonderful talent she is.
