Most Haunted Places
Dissatisfied human souls in the form of invisible spirits haunt the places of occurrence of their immature deaths – murdered or unjustifiably sentenced to death – and frighten people with their strange manifestations. All over the world, there are historic places including castles, hotels, palaces, towers and tunnels that are marked with habitations of spirits observed by international visitors to these venues; of them, here are a brief description of five. The London Tower
Since the wife of Henry VIII was executed beheading her in 1536, the history of this tower of about a decade observed many murders, massacres and executions, that resulted in the emergence of dissatisfied spirits infesting the tower, and frightening the visitors at dead of nights with a multitude of peculiar audio-visual ghostly signals!
The Ship Queen Mary
In California, the year 1967 saw the establishment of a hotel founded on the wreckage of the famous ship Queen Mary, wherein fights and fires had broken out killing some crews and boarders including children. Quite often, dissatisfied spirits emanated from ungratified souls create peculiar noises and knockings that scare the visitors making them panicky!
Catacombs of Paris
As an extension of space of the town cemeteries, a network of underground tunnels called catacombs was established in Paris in 1700, that has since been receiving innumerable mortal remains of people, murdered or executed unjustifiably to death. Strange manifestations of spirits were observed many times by the visitors to these tunnels.
The Edinburgh Castle
This historic castle of Scotland, parts of which were constructed about 900 years ago, has an old prison where deaths occurred in large numbers, many of which were unnatural and immature giving rise to spirits creating flurry of visual glimpses.
Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania
It is said that prisoners seven times more of its capacity were kept in this prison established in 1829. Because of over population, prisoners were under extreme stress and strain causing unnatural deaths. This prison also earned fame as the venue of imprisonment of the notorious gangster leader Al Capone! Strange audio-visual manifestations of spirits were observed in this prison by the visitors.
