This is a short page to try and show how Google the widely popular search engine is gaining a ton of new power.

Google Has A lot of Power

How powerful has Google become? Do you think they know to much about us? These are questions I am trying to answer They are so powerful they now have a tool called to government search tool. This tools tells us how much Google is asked to help solve criminal investigations to find the search tool I am speaking of look here. You can see that if Google is being asked for help by governments to find their own criminals then Google has a lot of power. Every time you make a search on Google they save your IP address and that address is kept for up to 18 months. They can compare searches done by the same Ip address.

Using Google Earth technology anyone who knows your address can look at your house and figure out exactly where you live. That technology can find schools, Jails, Police Stations, and pretty much anything else. Google owns both Facebook and Youtube every time you go to your Facebook page Google takes a note. It is not that hard to find who a computer belongs to when you constantly login to a page with your name and face on it.

If you have a Facebook Google knows where you live, your birth date who your married to, and anything else that is posted on Facebook.

If you do a Google search of your name right now you might even find your face on the Internet, and if you could look yourself up so could anyone else in the world.

Very informative. I google myself occasionally just to see what (if anything) comes up.
