Here, I will tell you how to get great nail art with a DIY method (something I saw on SuperScrimpers last week)...

Some of you may have seen the TV programme 'SuperScrimpers' last week, and if you did you will know where I got the idea from for designing my own funky nails.

Gem from SuperScrimpers gave a wonderful tip on how to get designer nails without forking out a wad of cash at the local beauty salon.

Well, today, I took her tip and ran with it...

Basically, here is what to do:

1. Paint the whole nail using one colour and leave to dry.
2. Get a contrasting colour (any one you want) and paint dots on top of the first colour.
3. Get a liquid eyeliner pen and draw a circle around the dots - then draw a few squiggles in the spaces.

And that's it! As simple as that, you will have a leopard print on your nails. I have included a picture of my nails which I painted this morning. I'm looking forward to trying different colours soon too.
