Ode to Virgo

A song of praise to those born under the sign Virgo
Ode to Virgo
What can I expect
But that you'll dissect
And inspect
Every nook and cranny?
But please, not my fanny.
You're quiet and serene
And very, very clean
You never proselytize
You economize
And analyze
And organize.
Order is your name
No time for a game
There is work to be done
Later you'll have fun.
The urge toward perfection
Is your only direction
I should have known
How much you have grown
In integrity.
You clean up my messes
And wear pretty dresses
You're all prim and proper
Not like that shuffler
Who makes you suffer.
You'll always try your best
Before getting rest
And retiring to your nest
Only then you'll have a fun fest.

Thank you for this very special poem which I shall revisit often, when I feel a bit unappreciated. Don't know what happened to the star award?
