Salads can be made of fruits and vegetables together. Can we just mix them easily or any vegetables we like?
Oranges and avocado Salads
I think of oranges and avocados as two of the best fruits around. I wonder if I can combine them to salad and if they are not awkward together or if they will not taste weird.
I made a research and do found a lot of recipes that we can actually combine avocado and orange into a salad and it is possible.
We want oranges for its vitamin C and avocado for its Vitamin E. Never did I try this recipe before and I want to try if it is okay. So, here is one type or recipe for orange and avocado salads copied from a website which I change a little bit.
Orange and Avocado Salad
2 oranges peeled, sectioned and the white center removed
2 ripe avocados, peeled then cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 small red onion, sliced thinly
salad greens, lettuce or spinach
dressing:
3 tablespoons of lime juice
1/4 cup of olive oil
salt and pepper
