Who wants to get hurt while doing an experiment?

Safety!

Science safety is very important to being safe when studying and doing labs. There are a lot of different symbols. These mean things like fire safety, bacteria being involved, sharp objects, protective clothing, explosives, poisons, chemicals, fumes, and animal safety.

Also, it will be a good idea to always wear eye protection to avoid getting anything into your eyes. If you do get something in your eyes, go to an eye wash station and try to flush the stuff out with water or eye wash solution. Your partner should go and tell the teacher if anything happens. If you catch on fire just stop drop and roll. Never eat, drink, inhale, or get any substance on you during a lab (unless the lab is testing the effectiveness of a substance on skin). There are a lot of other things that you should do. These will need to be told by an adult or teacher.
