The Astrology of the Trump Presidency
The horoscope drawn for the Trump presidency strongly suggests it will be even worse than you think - way worse.
The birth of a presidency
Since every incoming American president is scheduled to take the presidential oath of office at high noon on January 20th after the November election, a horoscope can be drawn in advance for the "birth" of that president's term of office. Invariably, the incoming president will complete taking the oath very close to 12:03 pm when he repeats its final words..."so help me God."
The Trump presidency
Looking at the horoscope for the Trump presidency, the question must be asked: does the Pluto-Jupiter-Uranus T-Square falling in the sixth, ninth and twelfth houses of the inauguration horoscope mean that the new administration will work in radical (Uranus) ways behind the scenes (12th house) locked in dark alliances with foreign powers (Pluto in house 9) for its own self-aggrandizement (Jupiter)? Such a T-Square as this suggests an almost a Mafia-like personality and cast to the Trump administration. Pluto, the great lord of darkness, king of the underworld, is not only the handle planet of the T-Square, it is at the planetary ‘center’ of the entire inaugural chart. The T-Square is the very engine that drives the entire horoscope. Thus, the T-Square drives the entire administration. It reveals not only its purpose, but also its character. It is already beginning to look like Donald Trump may align with Vladimir Putin to form the greatest kleptocratic partnership of all time. And they could very well succeed beyond their greatest dreams and our greatest fears.
The fact that Pluto holds the most powerful position in this horoscope is frightening, to say the least. Given this, one can imagine all sorts of nefarious, destructive forces overtaking the administration. One can easily predict that this administration will be driven by an extreme ideology (Pluto in house 9). One can also easily predict an administration bent upon destruction (Pluto) – of the environment, the public school system, Obamacare, the social safety net, the two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, LGBT protections, government regulations over banking and workplace safety – as well as the commons. One can only hope they won’t sell off our national parks and forests to be stripped and mined for corporate profit.
The Moon in this horoscope forms a fortunate sextile to Mercury and trines to both Venus and Neptune. The rhetoric (Mercury) of this administration is likely to be designed, bigly, as Trump would say, to deceive (Neptune) the public (11th house). The sesquare aspect (135 degrees) between the Moon and Mars, exact to within one minute of arc, may indicate military adventurism carried to an extreme.
The Jupiter-Saturn sextile suggests that in terms of the administration's goals, it will enjoy considerable success, particularly with the Republicans in full control of Congress.
There is no question in this observer's mind that this horoscope portends very dark days ahead for everyone of us who stands outside of the one percent.
