The future waiting ahead

Life is an ongoing process which come and goes without you even realizing it. The paths through life are many and each lead to a different destination. What matters is which of these paths you choose, for they shape the future ahead.

Paths in life are many, true ones are few

People are born, they grow up, mature, become adults, then eventually grow old and then die. But the most important part of this life span is what goes on during the time. As people grow up they are faced with countless problems and questions. As per human nature we tend to have curiosity to answer these and we do, but the way in which we take the answer to be may to someone else be in a different perspective as to his or her opinion. These are the many choices that accompany problems, and choosing the right one changes everything.

I may sound a bit confusing at this point but all i'm trying to do is give a brief over view.

Now the choices you make in life, the paths you take is upon you. We have free will letting us do whatever we want but that is not necessarily always good. What ever you decide to do will impact your future. They will carve the way to whatever destination lies ahead. Every mature sane person can easily distinguish between right and wrong which are the main two types of choices faced by people. The right choices lead to a better brighter future just in the same way as a bad choice leads to a worser future. Its a simple concept to grasp just following it is the problem.

Lets take an example. A man has a two choices; Either jump off a cliff or turn back to the safety of his home. Each leads to a different future. If he jumps off the cliff he may die or be badly wounded, if he so happens to survive and may even retain an injury. On the other hand returning home has him go back to to his normal average life and resume the way it had been.
Do you understand? This was just a simple example when someone is faced with such a choice. Unfortunately life isn't so nice and has much more major problems to give making it hard for the person to decide the right choice.

Major events

At some point of life most people are faced with much more complex problems. One's where people have got to make decisions or choices affecting the people around them as well. Some problems may also have interlinked choices; That is to say choosing one choice leads to another bunch of choices and so on. Exhausting as that may sound it's what life truly is a Test. Whatever you do now affects whatever is to happen later on, and i don't necessarily mean only for this lifetime, it affects whatever is to come after (the afterlife for instance).

When the tsunami of 2004 hit, a women was dragged far out into the sea with her two kids (one an infant the other around 5). Now she had a choice, either leave one of them behind and swim with the other to shore or wait for help and most probably drown with both of them. Also is she was to leave behind one child to allow her to swim, which one would she leave? A very tough choice to make and pray you never have to meet with such. I'm not going to tell you what she did. Just think about it, what would you have done in her shoes?

In the end

It again all comes back to the same point, the choices you make are life changing. So all I can say is choose very carefully between the choices presented to you and follow the path. So next time you reach a fork in the road of life remember to take the path you think is best. Also don't forget the easy ways round aren't always the best one's.
