Astrology is a lens through which we can discover many things, not only about ourselves, but about the meaning and purpose of our individual lives.
What Astrology Can teach Us
Why study astrology? It's difficult to learn, but the rewards that ensue from learning it are great. The greatest teaching embodied within the study of astrology is that we are all one, all connected to everything and everybody. Indeed, we are each individually like spokes in a wheel, and because we are, each of us is an integral part of all there is. Remove one spoke from the wheel and it is greatly weakened. Thus we are each born to meet a need the universe has for us. We are each individual expressions of spirit, each individually necessary to the functioning of the whole. Each of us has all 360 degrees of the zodiac contained within our individual horoscopes, thus I am you and you are me. We simply express ourselves as individuals in the process of creating the universe together. We are each individual expressions of spirit within the physical reality.
The study of astrology fosters appreciation for the uniqueness in each of us. It bestows acceptance and tolerance for our differences, for the unique beings that each of us express as individuals. I might not do things the way you do them, but I know that it is necessary for you to do things in the manner that you do them. You choose your path, I choose mine, and we are both going to end up in the same place eventually. The beauty of astrology is that it teaches us that there are an almost infinite number of different roads to travel in life, that each of us is on the path that is right for us, and that in the end we will all come to the very same destination.

I believe in astrology. The wise men followed the stars when Jesus was first born. They did not find him until he was three years old.
