1. Shower or bath with a friend, or reuse the bathwater used by partners or kids.

2. If your taps are leaking, replace them immediately. You can prevent the wastage of 10 000 liters of water per year!

3. Let your shower and bath water run out into the garden.

4. You can reduce your water consumption by half, by installing a water efficient head.

5. Replace two knob taps with single lever mixers, they are quicker to turn off.

6. Channel bath, shower and basin water to fill your cistern.

7. Install a manual release lever to reduce the amount of water per flush.

8. Shower rather than bath. You’ll save up to 135 liters per day, that’s 945 liters per week!

9. Instead of a water and foam blade shave, have an electric shave.

10. Place an object, such as a brick or filled water bottle in the cistern. You’ll save up to 7 300 liters in a year!
