Baked kale is a quick, easy, healthy side dish.
It's delicious and can be seasoned to your liking.

Baked Kale

Preheat oven to 350℉
Wash and dry kale
Pull kale leaves from tough stems
Place kale in a large bowl
Drizzle with olive oil
Sprinkle with salt - optinal: also sprinkle with any spice you like (example: cayenne, garlic powder or onion powder)
Toss together
Pour onto a baking sheet
Bake 8 - 10 minutes
Enjoy!

I love Kale but I had never ever thought of baking it before. For sure it's a quick side dish to prepare. I will have to give it a try. I'm actually quite adventurous where foods are concern and I'm willing to try almost anything at least once.

Recently, I have been on a kale kick! I've been experimenting with it any way I can. I have really enjoyed it like this and can make it often with meals because it is so quick and easy.

Just thought of passing on this unusual idea. We were eating out at a grand restaurant, (my son's treat) one of the veggies was called creamed laitue douce. It was heavenly, upon asking the chef what it was, he informed me that it was boiled, soft or "wilted" lettuce. We often use even the fresh variety. Simply prepare it as you would, a spinach dish only using a third less water.

Tranquilpen - That sounds really interesting. I like to try vegetables prepared in different ways...plus, it helps me eat more vegetables. I'm definitely going to try making your suggestion of creamed laitue douce. Thanks :)

Wow that is easy enough to do! I normally just blend mine. Thank you I just may break open my oven and actually turn it on and try these! I know I'm a raw vegan but this is easy.
