so I know that St Paddys day is coming. What better way to celebrate then to have corned beef and potatoes. I mean I look forward to this recipe every year and I have to make it cause its so good. Now I have shared this with many people and they all love the recipe. You can tweak this to your liking and see where it may go.

Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes and Carrots

What you need:

3 lbs corned beef

6 potatoes cubed

6 carrots chopped roughly

1 3 lb head of cabbage cleaned and quarter

1 tsp mustard seed

1 tsp pickling spice

2 bay leaf

1 tsp cracked black pepper

1 tsp kosher salt

What to do:

In large pot add corned beef and cover it with water.

Add seasonings and bring to boil.

Next lower from boil to low temperature for 3 hours.

Skim off the foam of the water.

Add more water.

Add potatoes, carrots and cook for 20 mins.

Next add your cabbage and cook til tender.
