PC games can be the most demanding of software. Today, most have 3D graphics which requires some good hardware. Gaming PCs need to have top hardware to ensure that the top PC games can run smoothly and at their best. Overall, this may mean upgrading certain hardware with more standard PCs.

Building the ultimate gaming PC

The first thing to consider is that of the graphics card. A top graphics card can make all the difference, and will ensure that the best graphic settings can be matched. In this respect, 3D graphic cards from Radeon are most recommended such as the ATI Radeon HD 6870 and the ATI Radeon HD 6850.

In addition to these cards, other graphic cards from Nvidia are also worth noting. Consider the Nvida GeForce GTX 460 or the Nvidia Geforce GTX 470 which support Direct X 11. Both are suitable for high-end gaming.

Overall, these graphics card can be added to PC via their expansion slots. With them, a PC will be much better for games.

Aside from graphic card hardware there are also some other considerations for the gaming PC. None other than that of Ram, or Random Access Memory. Many of the top PC games may have high Ram requirements, and a good amount of Ram will ensure a faster PC. As such, at least 4Gb of Ram or more like 6Gb will be more suitable.

Therefore, it is worth adding extra Ram as well. This can be done by pushing the Ram into the Ram slots. Press both ends of the Ram and it will slot into place.

Aside from this, a gaming PC should have a suitable sound card. A good sound card will take advantage of the latest audio extensions. As such, the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional is one sound card that is recommended. Sound cards such as these have some of the latest EAX audio extensions. Alternatively, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 is another sound card that is designed with the latest audio extensions to ensure superior audio.

Then there is the monitor which is easily upgradable. Good sized monitors with features are most recommended. Consider the LG W2486L which is 23 inch wide-screen with a LED back-lit display. This monitor also supports a 1920 x 1080 resolution which make it all the better for gaming PCs.

So, this is the hardware that will really make the difference for a gaming PC. Advanced Radeon and Nvidia graphic cards, lots of Ram, sound cards such as the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional, and larger monitors such as the LG W2486L. This hardware will make for a great gaming PC!
