The new fad among modern women seems to be collecting Pandora beads. There are many different types and designers of beads out there. These beads are used for making custom jewelry. Pandora beads are among the most popular.

Pandora Beads and Charms Company

Pandora is the biggest manufacturer of collection beads and charms. Pandora is also one of the most expensive lines. Pandora beads or charms range in price from $25 to over $400. Pandora sells a line of bracelets, earrings, rings, watches, beads and charms. You can make your own personalized jewelry using beads or charms.

Counterfeit Beads

Pandora being one of the largest companies of collection beads out there other companies often duplicated their beads. Many of the charms and beads you can get from Pandora other companies have a cheaper version of almost the same bead or charm. You have to be careful when buying collection beads and charms online because there are many different counterfeit beads and charms of there. I would not recommend buying Pandora beads or charms online unless you buy directly from the Pandora website.

Ways to Tell Real Pandora Beads

One of the best ways to make sure you are not getting counterfeit Pandora beads or charms is to but directly from Pandora themselves. Pandora has many stores and online retailers where you can buy Pandora jewelry. All sterling silver beads will be stamped somewhere with 925. If you see 925 you know, you are at least getting a silver bead. Pandora stamps their beads and charms with s925. Pandora charms and beads will have a makers mark on them. Pandora’s makers mark is ALE this mark can be found somewhere on every Pandora’s products. The only time this mark isn’t there is if the piece is too small. There are not that many Pandora charms or beads that are too small for the mark, but there are a few that can't be stamped.

Not my kind of jewelry. I don't wear jewelry as a matter of fact.

Some people done but it's a big thing here in the states. There are ads for it all over the places.

Brendamarie, excellent article. I love Pandora beads. This past summer we went to an outside flea market and they were selling fake beads. I knew right away. Some were actually such light plastic that there was no way a person wouldn't know they were fake. Thanks for the tips on knowing what's real and what's not.

My mother-in-in is really into them. There are many different types of charm bracelets out there but Pandora was one of the first.

we have a pandora right here in Montreal, but I have never been to the store. I don't really have jewellery anymore since I was robbed many years ago.

Interesting to know about these though I do not know how many men are interested in such.

I for one have a passing interest only - siva

Maybe as gifts for their wives or girlfriends. But, other than that I don't see men having much interest in them unless they sell them.
