Priced at $250,000, Dodge Tomahawk V10 is the most expensive bike. It can reach a maximum speed of 400mph. It takes just 2.5 seconds to reach 60mph.

Dodge Tomahawk V10 super bike is the most expensive bike as on date with a price tag of around $250,000. But a Dodge spokesperson has confirmed that two units were sold for more than $700,000! Production was limited to only 10 models. All of them were sold like hot cakes. What makes it so expensive?

Dodge Tomahawk V10 super bike was introduced as a concept vehicle at American International Auto Show held in Detroit in the year 2003 by Daimler-Chrysler. They have invested heavily on this bike. Cost of production per unit was $200,000. Italian designers and engineers have worked really hard on this bike and it shows!

Dodge Tomahawk V10 super bike comes with 8.5 liter engine (505 cc). Its body is made of aluminium. It has 10 cylinders, 90 degree V - type, 356 - T6 aluminium alloy block with cast iron liners and aluminium alloy cylinder heads. This enables it to reach a maximum speed of 400 miles per hour (640 kmph), fastest ever by any bike! Engine runs at a maximum speed of 6000 rpm.

Dodge Tomahawk V10 super bike weighs 1500lbs. Its 4 wheel suspension takes care of this weight. This is a rear wheel drive vehicle. Its battery is maintenance free. Its headlights consist of 12 five watt LEDs, with beam modifying optics and masked lenses. Even though this vehicle has four wheels, it is a motorcycle. Each pair is a few inches apart. It can reach 60 mph is 2.5 seconds. This is mind blowing!

It is an ultimate track bike and is every biker's dream. Certainly the best among the lot.
