This Cream Cheese Frosting goes great with carrot, red velvet, chocolate, pumpkin and any other flavored cakes and cupcakes, even cookies and cake pops. A four ingredient and 10-minute recipe that even kids can help you make.

Easy Baking: Cream Cheese Frosting

    Ingredients and Procedure:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat in 1 block (250 grams) of cream cheese until soft/creamy.

  2. Add in 1 tablespoon of softened butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and continue beating.

  3. Add in 2 cups of sifted confectioners' sugar little at a time, continue beating until smooth and stiff.

    Tips and Tricks!
  • Make sure that all your ingredients are in room temperature.
  • Do not melt your butter in the over or stove, just let it sit on your counter top until it softened or melt by itself.
  • Sifting the confectioners' sugar will prevent your frosting to have lumps.
  • Place your cream cheese frosting into an air-tight container if you won't use it right away and place in the refrigerator. It will last for a 3 to 5 days.
  • You may add liquid or gel coloring if you want to.
