A no bake cold dessert that is made of pure cream cheese and all purpose cream with a kick of liquor of your choice (any brands of brandy or rum).

Indulge into the rich flavor of coffee, liquor and cream cheese in one flavorful dessert.

Easy Baking:Japanese Tiramisu

    Ingredients and Procedure:

  1. Cream together 2 egg yolks, 100 grams of all purpose cream and 80 grams granulated sugar into a small bowl using a whisk.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix in 80 ml of hot water, 1 1/2 tablespoons of black coffee powder and 2 tablespoons of brandy/rum. Stir until well incorporated. Let it cool.

  3. In a medium bowl, beat the chilled 150 ml all purpose cream until stiff using a hand/stand mixer.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the 250 grams of cream cheese until soft peaks form. Add in the all purpose cream and continue beating. Add the creamed egg-sugar-cream mixture and again, beat for another minute until well incorporated.

  5. For the base, use a cheese flavored store bought cupcake and slice into half crosswise.

  6. Grab a small plastic/paper/glass cup and drop in the lower slice of the cupcake and brush with the coffee mixture. Scoop in 2 tablespoons or more (depending on your preferred quantity) of cream cheese mixture and cover the top with the other half of the cupcake and again brush the top with the coffee-liquor mixture and pour 2 more scoops (tablespoons) of the cream cheese mixture and dust the top with cocoa powder.

  7. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours of overnight and serve chilled/cold. Enjoy!

    Tips and Tricks!
  • You can also use crushed graham of lady finger as the base of your Tiramisu.
  • You can use brandy or rum as your liquor and if you don't want any alcohol added, you can just use plain coffee.
  • If you want to double the amount just remember 1 cream cheese is to 1 all purpose cream.
  • You may use large container of different kinds as what you prefer. Just double or triple the dose for larger container.
