Egyptian recipes: Different ways to cook eggs for dinner

Eggs can be cooked in many fast ways but you can get the best taste out of eggs too. I Believe that eggs can be made into the most economic and nutrient meal. Just see the recipes here.

1- Egyptian Egga

You need
5 eggs
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 cup tomato
4 tbsp flour
Minced parsley
salt and black pepper
vegetable oil


1- In a skillet put 4 tbsp oil. Heat on a medium heat and put diced onions and fry till it becomes golden.
2- Put flour and mix very well.
3- In a bowl beat the eggs and add parsley, tomatoes and the mixture of flour and onion.
4- Beat very well and add salt and pepper.
5- Spray or brush a baking tray with oil and pour the mixture into the tray.
6- Bake in 350F oven for about 25 minutes.

2- Eggs with potatoes

4 eggs
1 big potato "diced"
1/2 cup veg oil for frying potatoes
1 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper
4 Slices of American cheese or the kind of cheese you like the best


1- Fry the diced potatoes in oil to golden color.
2- Beat the eggs and add salt and pepper.
3- Put the fried eggs and mix gently.
4- In a skillet place butter and heat to melt.
5- Pour the mixture and cover then reduce heat.
6- Cook it for 2 minutes then put it in a plate with cheese on top.

3- Vegetables ommelet


4 eggs
Diced tomato
Diced green pepper
Diced black olives
1 tbsp butter
salt and pepper


Beat the eggs in a bowl and add diced vegetables and seasonings.
Put butter in a skillet and place it on medium heat till it melts.
Pour the mixture into the skillet and cover.
Cook for 2 minutes and flip. Cook for more 1 minute.

Pizza ommelet

3 eggs
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp mozzarella cheese
sliced sosage or franks
salt and pepper
1/4 cup water


1- Beat the eggs and add salt and pepper as you're beating
2- In a casserole cook sliced sosage or franks with water and tomato sauce
3- In a skillet put the butter and heat on medium eat till it melts then pour the beaten eggs and cook for 2 minutes
4- Flip the eggs and put cooked sosage or franks
5- Put mozzarella cheese on top then cover and cook for more 2 minutes.
