Even though there will certainly be times of tests and trials, each individual has been entrusted with a gift and/or talent that empowers them to be productive in their calling. The challenge for us is to be ourselves and not try to be something we're not.

Gifts And Talents

God our Creator ~ bestows upon individuals in every age ~ gifts to employ in loving ministry for the common good of humanity. Given by the Holy Spirit, the gifts provide abilities and ministries needed to fulfill divinely ordained functions. These gifts include faith, healing, administration, reconciliation, compassion, and sacrificial service for the help and encouragement of mankind.

Some are called by God for teaching and for other service to edify individuals ~ and to foster unity and knowledge of God. Then people can be built up in faith and love.

The best decision we can make is to follow Jesus Christ.

There Will Be Times Of Testing

When trouble of any kind comes your way ~ it's good to consider it an opportunity for great joy. When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow. When your endurance is fully developed, you will be mature and complete.
Be confident. Your Creator goes with you wherever you go.

Whatever the case ~ be yourself.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. This concept can be found in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love in Verse Two of the Twelfth Chapter of The New Testament Book of Romans.

Be Thankful To Him

In Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love, we are admonished in Psalm 100 Verse Four to

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Regardless of what is happening now or has already happened, or what might happen in the future ~ access to peace is given ~ to those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

So we find in Verse Fifteen of the Third Chapter of the New Testament Book of Colossians ~ in Our Creator's Wonderful Book of Teaching on Life and Love:

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Lovely positive words Helen.

Yes, we all have our own special gift, and we shouldn't try to hard to use another gift, or be jealous of it if we do not seem to have been given that one.

For many years, I wanted the gift off healing, and I was jealous of people who had this gift, but upon rereading again Saint Paul's words in First Corinthians chapter 12, verses 4 to 11, I realised at last that my own gift lay elsewhere, other than in this area directly.

Maybe I can help people to heal through my writing through the gift of instruction, I was thinking to myself after reading this passage of scripture.
