Faith, and belief. Which is the stronger force, or power?

People often argue with their minds about such things as faith and belief. Such argument shows a lack of trust.

Take that first step. Trust in love. Trust in God. Trust in your truth.

Your faith will be strengthened then, and your beliefs will become aligned to your faith then too.

Is faith a higher power than belief, or is it the other way around?

Belief is no higher than faith than it is a connection to what comes next.

If you start with faith, faith creates beliefs, and then the beliefs create knowledge, when the knowledge proves the beliefs. Knowledge will become truth, only when you live it, and truth will become wisdom, when others can read your truth in you.

Wisdom is given out with love, when love feeds the truth in you, so that the wisdom, your wisdom is then given out to others with truth and with love.

It all starts with faith, or does it?

The paradox is, that this doesn't really matter. It could have all started, just the same way, with doubt. For doubt and faith are both sisters that help each other on the path.

Both doubts and faith will lead to beliefs, and so if you move past your beliefs to test them with knowledge and truth, so that your own truths are then formed and known, you will always come to the same end result.

When you allow love to feed the truths in you, you create a great wisdom to give back to and to feed a hungry world. The thirst in the world for truth, love and wisdom is far greater than that it is for knowledge. Knowledge, which is everywhere in these days, is always freely available.

To see this, just look at the proliferation of the internet. It is a symposium of knowledge. An almost complete repository of information, where almost all available knowledge is stored and available for us to access, so readily.

This is absolutely marvellous, compared with just one hundred years ago when the common man had really very little access to anything approaching this level of knowledge in any regard. And this is more astonishingly so, if we even go back another hundred years or so further before that into the dark ages, where people were killed for displaying their knowledge.

Never worry about what is higher or lower in your life, or what is the strongest power. Just work from the top down.

Always work from a spirit of love and all else, all knowledge, all truth will be opened up to you and made available for you then.

This is all as the Christian Bible says, seek love first, or the kingdom of heaven first, and all else will be added to you.

This advice comes from Saint Matthew's gospel, chapter 6, verse 33, which goes like this:

"Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Silence, doubt, and love

Silence your mind with love. Silence the doubts with love. And yes, even silence your faith with love.

For as the Bible says again, faith without works is a dead faith, and the only way to allow it to work, is to follow love. Here is the verse that says this. It comes from the New Testament book of James, chapter 2, verse 26.

"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."

So just love, and allow your faith to be a part of this loving. This is a part that you can now rename, and so then you might just call it trust from now on. Trust the silence of love to quieten all your doubts, and that is all you will ever need to listen to anymore. Trust and faith are very similar traits. They both have their roots within love.

The real secret of silence is that it is where love resides the most. Love is pushed out of the silence by noise and complaint. Love is always silently working and powering you towards itself. Love is silent by making no noise as it works.

Love is a beautiful expression of communication and connective voice by voicing itself silently and it is only properly ever heard in the heart by being felt by the heart.

The heart has ears for love and hears its soft footsteps approaching and its gentle knock on its door. Love hears and enters the heart because the heart has heard its silent approach and opened its door noiselessly to it. And so love makes no noise but is the best communicator of all. Love connects all.

So by all means have faith or doubt, but go past it and also keep going past your beliefs and so then move right on up to love. Then work back down again from love, and with love, to then turn the twin sisters of doubt and faith into trust.

Trust in your own truth, and trust in the working of love in your life.

Trust love enough to listen to it first, and to allow it then to stay forever again in your heart. It is your greatest friend and ally on your path. And you don't need to believe this. Just feel it now silently in your heart, and right now.

Now is the only time there ever is and where love is always the greatest. All else is only the memory of it's working, or the anticipation of it's coming into your life. But please believe me it is always here with you now.

The importance of faith

What is the importance of faith?

How can we obtain real faith?

Does it come from our mind or from our heart, and what about our beliefs, where do they come from?

Faith builds on the body of love in your heart. Its seed must grow from love's waters watering it, and then it will be strengthened. Belief, on the other hand, comes from your mind, and can be either unconsciously or consciously held. Faith always surpasses a belief, but a belief can also sometimes act to lessen your faith.

Belief and faith, working together though our mind and heart linked as one always provide a strengthened base for you to contact God from and to maintain your connection to him without doubts interfering or pruning off the best branches of your beliefs and uprooting your faith.

What is trust then?

Trust is simply the belief in faith, being aligned together in such a way that you believe that placing your trust in your faith will be the best loving action that you can take in your life, to make it the best kind of life that is possible for you.

"Trust is the first step to love."

This quote is from the Indian writer, Munshi Premchand, (1880 to 1936).

Take that first step, and trust love to take you to where you need to go to. Everything else on your journey will be supplied to you then, and all of your needs will be catered to too.

Living a life of love and without expecting returns serves us well in terms of fulfillment - we do our duty and that is what matters.

If our faith and belief resonate with another, so be it. Deep faith should goad us into action.

Faith and belief can certainly stir us into action. Losing faith can often send us into a sort of depression, thanks for your comments siva.

Spirited, honestly until I read this I really didn't think there was that much of a difference in the two. Faith, I would have to say is the more powerful

Thanks for sharing ~ Spirited. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this,

Without faith ~ it is impossible to please God. This is according to the New Testament Book of Hebrews, Chapter 11, Verse 6.
