Well, the deep mind cannot take a joke, so give it your deepest most serious ideas and goals repeatedly. I will give suggestions, but you must adapt them to your own life in an individual manner.

Whether you think you can or think you cannot, you are right.

I get all kinds of emails on personal development systems and answer many of them, only to find a total thick golden thread running through them that unites them all. That thread only makes anything worthwhile, it is the thread of actual application and use of any of those systems for what I really want.

Start thinking, there is not any "special formula" for success except genuinely apply yourself to get what you really want and have a definite goal that is genuinely desired. Genuine activated and active desire is the "panacea" that works for everything. It is like planning a precise marriage instead of planning a precise vacation, although too many average people plan their vacations better than they do their marriages. Have right priorities, and things will be more likely to come out right. That, right there is where we start.

Without active and activated desires, goals are just mere dreams, not genuine goals.

The Secret to David slaying and killing Goliath with a slingshot rock thrown in the right place between the brows of Goliath

The Christian Biblical David's secret to slaying Goliath is this. Goliath had the weakness of overconfidence on his side. David had hunger, activated desire and full direction. Without those things, Goliath was a losing hulk even before he came up against David.

It's so simple and persistently real that nobody normal really wants to admit what it takes to succeed even in the worst or genuinely best odds. What do I mean by genuinely best odds? The power of activated or fully-integrated goal oriented desire is more powerful than the greatest weapons with the best bullets and most bullying powerful foe there is.

Your only genuine foe, then:

Look in the mirror.

Your best of best friends:

Look in the mirror, think about and act on what you think about fully. All you have to do for the foe is look in the mirror, but you have to do more to see your best of best genuine friends.

The unbeatable foe, and the undefatigueable, neverending friend.

The only unbeatable foe, that becomes the ultimate friend of yours and mine is in the mirror. But, who wants to admit that? The genuinely extraordinary person wants to admit that. The genuinely average person just goes, "huh?" The genuinely average person just bounces off on their way, never finding out who that genuine enemy or friend is.

So, I ask you this question: Can you become a winner? I say whether you think you can or cannot, you are right. Sure, that is an over-used Henry Ford quote, but, in this respect, I do not feel that it is over-used. In fact, to be slightly more original in quotes (Dorthea Brande): "Act as if it is impossible to fail." Is that not what a friend does really when it comes to their most genuine friend. All an enemy is really, is a failure in the eyes of the person who is that person's enemy. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less. Failure is impossible to a friend, but mandatory for a genuine enemy when you want the genuine enemy to do a favor for them.

Do not let yourself down

Be your own best friend, not your own worst enemy. Always endeavor to genuinely do what is right for you, not what is wrong for you. I know, I sound a little like a Robert J. Ringer book, but, he is right in many respects. I did not say he was perfect, nor am I saying that all "right " points are perfect principles. But what works as the law, works as the law. As long as it harms no one else, and helps you, do as you will. I know that sounds a mercenary, but the reality is the reality, and without that reality, nothing works. Before you raise anyone else, do not let yourself down.
