There are lots of photography websites for photographers. These showcase a variety of photography, and can include some great photography guides. Here are a few photography websites which should not be missed.

The National Geographic

The National Geographic includes a great collection of photos on its site. From the homepage select photography to go to the photography home. From here there are links to galleries, wallpapers, newsletters and photo tips. The photo tip section of the site has some great photo tip galleries which have galleries such as underwater photo tips, nature photo tips, landscape photo tips and iPhone photo tips. These galleries display some excellent photos. You can also check out the photo tips videos for more detailed tutorials. If that's not enough, National Geographic even has its own scheduled photo seminars, and more details are included on the site.

Outdoor Photographer

Outdoor Photographer is a photography website which is also worth noting. It includes a variety of how-to tutorials covering shooting, printing and output and photography software. The site also provides details for a number of potential photography destinations with its nature and wildlife photo essays. Outdoor photography has regular photography contests with a variety of themes which you can enter as well. The Outdoor Photography site also has its own forum where you can discuss photography, and here further photography tips are included.

PictureCorrect is a valuable resource for photographers. This is one of those sites which has a blog template, with up to 128 pages of posts. Each post includes photography tips and techniques for photographers. As you would expect there is plenty of photography included on the site, and some of the posts also have video tutorials. In addition to this, PictureCorrect has equipment guides and a daily featured photos where your photos can also be added to the site if you join the site's photography network.

Check out Pop for more photography guides. Select the how-to link for tips on shooting, processing and light. There's plenty of tips and tricks included within 90 pages of posts. These also include a few video tutorials. The Pop forum is an active forum for photography chat. And you can also enter Pop photography contests. For further details on digital cameras, the Pop camera reviews are worth noting.

These are four photography websites which should be bookmarked by photographers. They are great resources with photography tutorials, contests, forums and seminars. Check out the websites from the links included above.
