It is said that happiness cannot be measured by success. You can be successful and be famous but still feel empty and alone. But we can have both success and happiness at the same time if we just live to the fullest. Because you may exist but still do not really live.

Take one step at a time. Be the best of what you are.

You can never achieve your goal if you don't put any effort and time to achieve it. And you can never realize your goal if you don't believe in it. We all read about the power of the mind. Take one step at a time - don't jump to the top of the ladder at once or else you'll fall. If you believe in your goal and your abilities, if you combine your faith with hard work and perseverance and if you put positive thoughts and attitude in what you are working on, you will succeed.

Be true to your religious faith and keep it alive.

Michael E. McCullough, a University of Miami researcher who has been studying the relationship between religion and health for more than a decade, suggests that religious people of all faiths, by sizable margins, do better in school, live longer, have more satisfying marriages and are generally happier than their nonbelieving peers.

Be active in your church whatever it may be - it will do wonders for your mental and psychological health.

If you think of others instead of being too obsessed about your goals, you will have more chance to reap success and be happy about it.

Having faith in a higher being will make you feel more capable of handling challenges and disappointments.

Surround yourself with your loved ones.

Having someone to talk to, to share your interests and activities makes you less vulnerable for failures. Let your family, the people nearest you, be there to support you. Be there when your loved ones for your loved ones.

Untap and share your talents.

Unleash your creativity. Don't be too one track minded as to your ambitions and goals. There are more to life than your work or your goal. Discover your talents and use them to further your personal development and personal goals.

Realize your flaws; nobody is born perfect

Don't be too perfectionist. Learn from your mistakes; learn from your weaknesses. Don't get discouraged when you realize you don't have the qualification for a certain goal. Oftentimes, these imperfections can open your eyes to other roads to reach your goal.

Face obstacles calmly and stand up in times of trials.

Life is full of obstacles - don't let this upset you. Face to your challenges.

We have to accept the vicissitudes of life as none is above them. Yes, as you said, put our eggs in different baskets so that we have someone to fall back upon and we also help others likewise - that gives the maximum meaning to our existence - siva
