Halloween party

Halloween is a fun time of year to celebrate and be a kid again. Throwing a successful Halloween party you should have great cocktails to come together with the theme. Blood themed cocktails are the perfect mixture for the Halloween festivities. Finding just the right cocktail can make an ideal Halloween party.

Blood-tini

The twist on the classic martini is a fantastic cocktail to serve to your guests.

Ingredients:

2 oz Acai Spirit
1 oz Acai juice
½ oz of lime juice
Lime wedge
Champagne

Preparation:

Combine Acai Spirit, Acai juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ten seconds and strain into a chilled martini glass. Pour the champagne into the glass until full. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Dracula’s Kiss

Ingredients:

1 oz black cherry vodka
½ oz grenadine
Cola
Maraschino cherry

Preparation:

Take the grenadine and coat the bottom of a highball glass. Add ice cube and the vodka. Top off with cola and garnish with a cherry.

Vampire kiss martini

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz vodka
1 ½ oz champagne
¾ oz Chambord
Red sugar

Preparation:

Take the red sugar and rim a martini glass. Pour the vodka and Chambord into the glass. Top off the drink with the champagne, a vampire’s kiss is made.

Bloody Mary

This classic is easy to fix.

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz vodka
½ oz lemon juice
3 oz tomato juice
A dash of salt
A dash of pepper
A dash of Tabasco
A dash of Worcestershire sauce
Celery

Preparation:
Add all the ingredients to a Collins glass, stir and garnish with a celery stalk to serve.

The vampire slayer

Ingredients:

1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz vodka
1 oz grenadine
Orange juice
Maraschino cherry

Preparation:

Fill a highball glass with ice. Layer the vodka, peach schnapps and orange juice. Swirl in the grenadine and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Party

Throwing a Halloween party is a fun event to plan. Having a few signature blood cocktails will set your party apart from the rest.

Interesting names for those drinks. Too bad I really don't care for Vodka. I prefer Scotch :-))
