Sourcefilmmaker is a tool made by Valve, it is designed to let developers of games using the source engine make clips and has been recently let into the publics hands to allow them to also create great clips. Examples of clips made include the entire Meet The Series of Team Fortress 2 which many of us gamers have seen.

Installation Guide

Now First of all you will require Steam, which can be downloaded on the valve website. To Install on Mac or Windows (The two more straight forward OS's), you can simply make use of the guide on the Wiki.
Assuming you already have Steam installed and have a registered account that is currently logged, in, press the install button on the Steam Page.
With this done, you should be greeted with the standard Steam installation Screen. Read through and pick the options you wish, if asked to agree to ToS, please actually read through them before hitting accept, and than let the program install.

Running SFM

Once SFM has installed, you can run it either by clicking on the desktop shortcut (assuming you have checked the box on the start menu) or run it via Steam in which the application is located under: Steam-->Libary-->All Software-->SFM.

Note: In order to Select All Software click on the part in which it says All Games
