One of the worst nightmares is a blocked toilet. This can be very frustrating especially if there is just one bathroom present at home. However put all your fears to rest. I will give you three simple steps on how to fix a blocked toilet as well as tips on how to keep your toilet blocked free,

Fixing a blocked toilet

Firstly if your toilet is filled to the brim you need to bail out the water in a large bucket. Pour about 3 cups of concentrated dishwashing liquid in the toilet bowl. Then pour a kettle full of very hot boiling water. Put the toilet seat lid down and let stay for about ten minutes .Then use a heavy duty plunger to vigorously plunge the contents in the bowl . Try flushing and plunging simultaneously and then your toilet will be cleared. Repeat process twice for tough clogs. After toilet is cleared you can pour fabric softener in the bowl on a weekly basis. This not only helps to minimize clogs but it also adds a nice fragrance to your bathroom

Try a plumber!!! Had enough with a Toilet Roll being flushed down by the husband stating it would dissolve after the two year old toddler threw it in.
Had two days to deal with no toilet thanks to this and he had to pay for the repairs of his foolhardy act in the end and going shitting in the gym....
