If Men were kind, we would resolve all conflicts with a handshake and our valiant soldiers wouldn't have to fight at all!

Religion Is Not Our Problem!

Due to man's own actions, the world's in such a mess! Wars that would have been prevented have claimed too many lives. To those who lost their lives, may their souls rest in peace. To those who lost their beloved ones, you are not alone, we feel your pain and share you tears. May you find hope and strength in God.

Shame to those who support and encourage violence. Individuals and governments, shame to you all! As a Christian, a Jew, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Singh, ask yourself; what is it that you are doing to make this world a better place? Religion doesn't stop you from doing good. So, don't make religion an excuse to do evil!

If you're the source of other people's pain and suffering, if you're the cause of those tears, if you're denying others their rights and freedom to live in dignity as human beings, regardless of who you are and what your religion is, God is watching! The moment of truth is nigh! You'll be brought to book from which nobody can delete your name. You alone, will be held accountable for all your deeds!

Can't we really live in peace with one another and respect each other regardless of our religions? God is love! God can't therefore be an excuse for our selfishness and hatred. We all have a religion so, religion isn't our problem. If we could all take a moment and reflect upon what it could do to us all if we found a better way to resolve our differences.
Wouldn't this world be a better place? I believe that would only be possible; If Men Were Kind

IF MEN WERE KIND

Dear Mr. President,
Of this great nation I'm not just a resident
But a law abiding and voting citizen
I'm glad that to power you have risen
Your decisions can make a difference
There’re selfish and ruthless people out there
So bent on harming and killing us
Regardless of how nice we treat them
So I join in honor and remembrance of our heroes
Who fight and die for our freedom

If men were kind
We’d resolve all conflicts

With a handshake
If men were kind

Our valiant soldiers
Wouldn’t have to fight at all

For their strength and sacrifice
Like we do all would honor them
If men were kind
If men were kind

Mr. President assure them all;
our soldiers don’t fight and die for nothing
They’re a force of good not evil
For us they put their lives in danger
That single mum who lost her only child
That heart that just lost its beloved
And that child growing without a parent
Tell them all to be proud they aren’t abandoned
Through their tears we’ve our heroes

If men were kind
We’d resolve all conflicts
With a handshake
If men were kind
Our valiant soldiers
Wouldn’t have to fight at all
For their strength and sacrifice
Like we do all would honor them
If men were kind
If men were kind

Mr. President
We pray for those still on battlefields
And wish them a safe return home
To our fallen heroes these medals
Aren’t a consolation
For their strength and sacrifice we honor them
In our hearts nothing can take their place
May their souls rest in peace!
Your kind humble citizen

A song I wrote in commemoration of our "heroes" An event which was organised by some friends in New York in 2009 to which I was invited. Instead of attending, I wrote this song. I was inspired by tears of both soldiers and their families after watching Oprah! I was in tears too, I must add!

In principle I agree with you but unless mankind is transformed by some miraculous means, I'll rely on my martial arts and my guns to protect me and mine. I never go looking for trouble and I don't enjoy hurting people, but if it comes my way I have the means to put the hurting on the one that brings it my way.

Jerry,
I like that one! But then, we're mankind! It starts with me and you! Sometimes we hurt even those that don't hurt us, think of domestic violence! Nice comment once again!

Dinthe I agree with you about the domestic violence. I may have hurt someone emotionally who never hurt me without knowing it but I can honestly say that I've never hurt anyone physically except in self-defense or while protecting someone who couldn't defend themselves. themselves.

Very nice job Din, I am so darn proud of you, as if you're my son.
I also agree that if we all could be good to one
another, it would be a better world.
The problem is, we can only be responsible for our own selves...
sad too say.
Congrats on the star page, it is well deserved.
Thank you for sharing.:)

Very impressive article, that a lot of people
need to read. Perhaps some of the truths
that are coming out now might
help to change some of the
wrong impressions that there
has been up to this.

Chris,
That's well said! I can see the two lines converging ahead! I think that's the magic of talking and sharing ideas freely! That's what we need to solve our problems and resolve our conflicts and not the flexing of muscles. The only muscles that need flexing are those involved in making love coz when we cry, it's only tears of joy! Amen!

Probably the only way to make men kinder and also wiser is to incorporate value education in the curriculum right from the beginning. Meditation, prayers and other pure practices must be made to become part of all offices and businesses.

In the absence of ethics, men has reduced itself to the status of worst predator ever born on this planet. We don't need Bush, Blairs, Laden or their clones, but Mother Teresas in every corner of the world.

A wonderful post. Looking forward to more enlightenment!

A very good article and a well deserved star.

If men were kind unto their own kind, they will not spend huge sums to manufacture weapons they will use to destroy themselves.

Nobody likes his property being destroyed by others. They go to court to seek justice and redress. Yet we wilfully destroy fellow men created by God in his own image and likeness. We destroy people who do not even know that there was a war just because they live within the enclave we have something against.

Sane men are forced to kill others just because their leaders are too arrogant to seek Godly solutions to end conflicts.

We have never really stopped to consider what God thinks about these wanton and senseless destruction of lives and properties and our environment.

God is not happy with this. He is watching and will judge all our acts of destruction of His world. God made a perfect world and brought men to live there but we have been destroying what God made and also destroying our fellow tenants.

The landlord is on His way. God is on his way to judge us. Will you be sentenced as a destroyer or rewarded as a peace maker? The choice is yours.

Human just cast off all the of your weapon destroy all war weapon left only tool for human life
if god want to punish human it doesn't need human action it just need to use of disaster to punish human if god desire it
don't insult god by using war weapon in name of god

dlist,
You're right on point. Weapons of war are not weapons that God use to bring peace. He uses Love and love that's what we need.
