Intuition's language, and its connection to dream language, and to consciousness

Communication has allowed us to increase in our consciousness levels. This verbal communication with others allows us to connect to them with love.

Our soul also tries to connect to us from love. It can do this through various methods, such as its giving us intuitional nudges, or through trying to get its message across to us, in a nightly dream.

Being your real self means allowing your intuition to be real too

We all live our lives mostly within our outer bodies and minds.

The enigmatic carrying on of Fred as Fred, for example, requires that Fred be Fred in Fred's way (at least initially so), whilst also connecting to his soul, which his intuition does.

Our intuition is not the language of our soul itself. It is more the coded message that comes through the ethers (or the void), so to speak, to Fred.

A dream comes through as pictures, but intuition comes through as feelings, that are partially linked into wavy word pictures of those feelings.

Intuition is not so much a thought then, as it is more a feeling that immediately is translated into a hazy word picture, and which is why the clarity is not often grabbed by your mind straight-away, because it itself feels a bit unsure of the value of this picturing word that describes the inner knowing of the feeling.

“Faith is a passionate intuition.”

This quote is from that great English poet, William Wordsworth (1770 to 1850).

What has our intuition got to do with our faith?

Intuition is to love, as love is to intuition. In other words, faith joins intuition to love, when faith is allowed to live through you giving it its life.

Faith is more than just intuition though. Faith is a type of a knowing. A belief is more only just an intuition, faith is much stronger than a belief.

Here is a link to an article of mine that talks more about the difference between faith and belief.

Our intuition as a rule comes to you most when you most need it

If you accept this fact, (see my above title of this section) next time you get such an inner nudge, realize this, and so take a second look at what it is saying to you. Ask yourself inwardly, verbally (in your mind) should I take notice of this, or not. Doing this brings it more into your consciousness.

Is our intuition a sort of inner emotion, or feeling, or is it really a part of love's energy, in some way?

Our intuition comes to us as a feeling somewhere in our body. It has been said to be felt first in the gut, but the focusing of this feeling is often more general than this.

You notice it floating around you, and at first it is not deeply connected to any real part of you at all.

It is a rather ethereal feeling that can easily float away again, unless you grab it and nail it down, so to speak, for a while.

You can do this by repeating the feeling in words in your mind, and so get yourself closer to it. This allows it to be itself, and not just a lost memory, that has faded away far too quickly from you, and so which has been largely then lost to you as a result of this.

Intuition must be valued and allowed to become more concretely alive in you rather than its just remaining a fleeting feeling, or a will-of-the-wisp, here one minute, and gone the next.

“I allow my intuition to lead my path.”

This advice from the prominent Argentinian writer Manuel Puig, (1932 to 1990) is generally a good thing to follow too.

Read on to my next section now though, which tells us that we can move past our intuition at some stage of our spiritual journey though.

Intuition and consciousness

The making of a connection to our intuition is the beginning of us moving towards a higher consciousness.

Intuition is a bridging language that acts as a messenger of our soul to give us its guidance.

The soul never talks directly as such, because as a part of God, it just knows, on the other hand, you do not yet know, and so you must surmise this truth, and part of it is coming to you, via your intuition.

This is because this is your developing heart's consciousness intuiting truth from feeling the underlying connection to your soul that is always present, but not yet fully being understood, or consciously realised.

Our spiritual journey is one that is taking us from an unconscious knowing to the conscious knowing of love's truths. Upon the journey, we gain the wisdom of practical application of these truths from our everyday experiences in seeing love working in each and every one of our life experiences.

When you understand fully yourself as soul, you know, and intuition then steps back into its closet, because you now know that there is no closet.

All is then revealed, and language just short changes the description.

Intuition is merely only a symbolic representing of truth, necessary only until you fully know the truth, and at this stage, you are past the need to have love's direction for you, pointed out to you anymore, in this way.

Mirrors are needed to see truth, until you are the one knowing truth, being truth.

You are not trying to just mirror the knowing in any other isolated part of yourself, anymore. You are not trying to hold onto truth with your mind, to show yourself that you know it!

Instead of still just pointing at the shadow of truth from your mind, or with your mind, you realise now that it was your soul that was the light behind this shadow.

Oneness becomes you then, and you now have the higher consciousness required to knowingly embrace this oneness, and so to be a part of it, but without being a separated part of it anymore. The paradox of the infinite existing in the oneness is resolved. Knowledge then replaces the previous need for intuition.

Finally, it must be remembered or pointed out here that intuition is not intelligence, but a part of consciousness.

Intelligence is knowledge mixed with a mind capable of processing it, but innate intuitive ability, or gifted growing accepted consciousness is still far greater than this, and this is why your intuition can give answers for you, that your intelligence working alone could never provide.

“Intuition is seeing with the soul.”

This last quote is from the well-known American writer, Dean Koontz.

In the context of my article, I would have to agree with him here!

all true but intelligence is still part of consciousness

Thanks Carol,

Intelligence exists as a result of consciousness, but I don’t think that it’s exactly an integral part of it.

Consciousness is a pure field of awareness, complete of itself.

Consciousness depends on love, loving, as do all things, but intelligence is of the instrument, or of the brain. It is a given part of your karmic makeup for this your current life.

That’s what I think anyway.

Intuition is the ability to quickly decode several signs

Thanks for commenting Mary.

Sometimes it's enough to just see the one sign though, LOL.

Spirited, I'm out of my league here. I've read your whole article from beginning to end and went back and read a few paragraphs twice. I love learning from you and I take the parts that I understand and go over them. I deal so much in fantasy that it's hard for me to center in on all of these concepts or thoughts or knowledge. Excellent writing as always.

Thanks Nancy, perhaps my articles are only dealing with another type of fantasy though.....

Every type of a thought, especially imaginative ones, begins in a dream or a fantasy, Einstein said.

Spirited, I've learned something new from you again. I love when that happens. I like Einstein's statement.

This is a great post about dealing with intuition ~ Spirited. Thanks for sharing

Generally speaking ~ I am somewhat uncomfortable with the mixing of New Age Theology with Biblical Christianity.

However ~ I believe you have done an excellent job here in sharing your insight.

Richest Blessings to you.

Thanks Helen,

somebody out there must try to bridge this gap, I feel.

Some New Agers feel "superior" in their "higher" knowledge.

Some Christians are inflexibly sterile in their viewing of truth from different angles, or insights.

I admire your always trying to see things from the other person's shoes. It's a very good character trait to have.

Great analysis Spirited. Intelligence by itself is not enough.

Some have great intuitive powers though I think we all can develop them but get carried away by all that glitter!

We should listen more to the soul and benefit from intuition, then we will realize we are all the same with a homing instinct to our source - siva

Thanks siva,

"we are all the same with a homing instinct to our source."

I like how you put that.

We should clean up our own pigeon poo, if we make any though, on our way home...LOL

Thanks for sharing your wisdom once more spirited. I like the way you ponder everything and then seem to come up with your truth. It is important that we all find our truth yet understand that it's not something that we have to push on others. Blessings.
