It Takes All Sorts to Make a World

Though we take others as more of a burden, spoilsport at times, they are as much a part of creative process as we are. The more the variety, the more are the fun and meaning to our lives. Never a moment is wasted in the humongous ride that we are fortunate to be part of; everyone is included to play a meaningful part.

Beauty of Creation

Our Creator has seen to it that we have enough variety – it is an endless choice for us in life. He has worked 24/7 for five billion years, but what about the time before that, what we call the Big Bang? Some view everything that has happened as an accident and even our own lives, but that shows we are not appreciative, grateful. What we cannot understand we should not sweep under the carpet. He has given the right intuition for us to progress scientifically and also provided us with an inner knowing to take the right path. What more, He does not impose but guides us along! He knows some baddies are needed to keep us on our toes! We fight to live another day and then enjoy peace for a while and then back to square one of survival! That applies to all species except that we have only us as the enemy. I bow my head to the omnipotent, omniscient, for the genius of creation and feel blessed to be a part of it. Just like the most religious among us doubt ultimate justice will prevail, even those who get away with murder worry that they will be held accountable! We will be left with nothing to hide from our acts when we shed our physical body! The choices are ours and that is the beauty of creation!

Nature

I never cease to wonder about nature around us. Who created the atmosphere for us to survive? Every galaxy, star, planet influences our existence. We inhabit this planet and just because we cannot see others do not mean they are uninhabited. Even our sun can support life within, phew! And some believe the ray of the sun is the path our soul takes when it leaves the body! Life can exist everywhere, in the bowels of our own planet to other places that we do not even have awareness of their existence. We look for physical clues but then where were we before birth and go after death. Of course, we can say nowhere, but even those who tell that to others have some misgivings! And the opposite holds true too! We are left to find solace with like-minded people sometimes, but I keep the options open.

I maintain our value additions are almost nothing compared to how nature nurtures us. What we see and feel could well be just scratching the surface, what makes us survive is beyond us, the complicated process that has to rise to the occasion almost on auto pilot! We test our most potent of weapons and pat ourselves little realizing that nature has to kick start the process to maintain the balance of life soon after. We could well be the only species that does not really care to live a balanced life in tune with nature. No wonder some believe God left us to our own devices unable to satiate our constant and ever increasing demands. He did want variety, all sorts to make the world, but soon it proved too much even for Him! I believe though He lives in nature that is everywhere.

Balance Decides despite Endless Variety

Though we have endless variety we can classify ourselves into broad spectrum. Some take care never to upset the apple cart of their lives while others stretch the boundaries. Then there are few who are more like spoilsports by pulling down others ahead. Some see positive side even when negativity is overwhelming; they try to get a toehold for retaining the light and then work around the issues. In fact, when the push comes to shove even those termed as negative lend a hand and that is when the love inherent in creation kicks in! It is sort of – even those who came to mock, remained to pray! That is happening all the time – everyone wants to breathe the fresh air including those who stonewalled the process in the first place!

Creation is Love Personified

The goodness inherent in the creative process triumphs in the end; after all, creation is love personified! That we are part of it, and even at the apex of the pyramid with ability to influence the process, is truly humbling than a matter of right! The news headlines for the wrong reasons will be left in the dustbin of history or when we are nearer to leaving this body when the oneness will become overwhelming as we wait to merge with the whole! Enjoy the endless variety but learn along by treading the right path that is prompted from within, then our life is on a roll. The pinpricks will keep us awake to make us enjoy more the upsides and then find the balance we aim for. When we miss our breakfast we enjoy the lunch more and likewise let us enjoy the endless variety as par for the course! The spread before us alluring, enchanting, challenging and life is meant to be everything, inclusive, always worth our while!

Thank you for sharing this story about the wonders of our world. It is too bad we tend to just talk about the negatives.

Speaking for myself, those who are the veritable "thorns in my side" yield nothing to my creative process, nor are they fun or give meaning to my life. Raise your voices, all ye who agree with me on that point.

But, Siva, whatever floats your boat is okay with me.

Thank you LeRain for your take. I can understand that as we have different backgrounds and experiences in life.

Though our core values cannot change our daily challenges, setbacks and blessings leave a mark on our outlook. I don't have the same perception on life that I had fifteen years ago partly due to the aging process and how people behave. I am more practical - whatever I get is a bonus now, even everyday on this blessed place!

I take a philosophical view that nothing is lost in creation and the more the thorns the more I have to keep awake and do my positive role. I want ultimate justice by whatever way it is administered, more for rewarding the good among us than punishing the few who are forever recalcitrant or even worse - siva

Thanks ~ Siva ~ for sharing yet another great article. Often people spend so much time complaining about the negativity on TV etc that you begin to wonder if they have access to the remote control. In other words ~ why not turn the television off for a couple of days?

I AM SO THANKFUL ~ that God Our Creator enables us to come against what I refer to as the forces of darkness ~ by not allowing the enemy of our souls to just constantly distract us from His purpose and plan for us.

I believe that it behooves all of us as global citizens to commit to keeping a vital connection to our Creator who is the real power source.

Blessings.

Thanks Helen for sharing your wholesome thoughts backed by deep faith as usual.

The more the darkness the more our torch of light shines. Let us do what is right and for me my inner voice cannot go wrong and then of course - do unto others as you have them do unto you.

If we don't cooperate on the very basics nothing is going to change for the better. I just look at the headlines of political news and that is more than enough for me! All politicians are equally bad everywhere or prove even worse with the passage of time. They are mere actors taking us all for a ride to nowhere - siva

Thank you Rama-ji. Happy to see you again on my pages.

When we see everything, everyone, as part and parcel of nature and creation, nothing can separate us; the oneness of creation and the uniqueness in each of us to keep us in perfect harmony. Namaste - siva

Thanks Nancy, it is always such a pleasure not only to read your lovely posts but also your wholesome comments encouraging others.

In my own way I try to encourage others to look at the positive side to their lives and that everyone is destined to reap what they sow. Agreed some tend to lose themselves in negativity but they do have innate goodness within them.

My motto is to do what is needed as co-creator and accept the results and move on to look ahead - siva

It is always good to look at the positive side Siva. Although some of us become depressed at what we see in the world, we must never forget that these things come to pass but the beauty of the universe remains. Blessings.

Thanks Kingwell, maybe some cannot appreciate the concept of love behind the whole process. They sow seeds of division to trip others but our inner knowing cannot go wrong.

We should learn from nature and other species how to coexist - siva

Brilliant article Sivaji. You have put forward the notion of optimism and pessimism at the same time keeping nature as background.

Yes Souvik-ji, democracy does not mean we cannot agree even on the basics starting with the welfare of society.

Creation itself means optimism; how the whole process is conceived and is on auto-pilot! siva

"creation is love."

That's why when we look at it as you do siva, we cannot help to love all parts of God's creation then too.

Yes Spirited - love is overwhelming in the creative process and nature. Everyone has a role to play but we have choices too in the roles we take up.

When we share the same air for survival, we should not fight over different Gods! siva

Sorry to be behind on your post dear Siva..
I had problems with my computer ...but all is well now , praise God .
Oh how I love the beauty of creation all around us ..even my little garden is glorious at this time of year , but as with the changing seasons here it will pass .
God has given us so much to be grateful for and to tend to and appreciate .
O that mankind had eyes to see all the good that has been placed in our care .
Many blessings to you my friend .

Thanks dear Stella - I did know about your computer issue from your comment on Nancy's post. I also saw your latest article and was going to read it.

How much we have to be grateful for is clear when we look around and learn more about the universe. All planets seem to be desolate except ours that looks resplendent in all its glory.

A while ago I had a dream that our Creator was placing all His creations at the right spots so that we have a comfortable life and was telling me - wait till I light up the whole; then I was flabbergasted, but then I woke up from my reverie! siva

Dear Siva, we must remember that every object in nature has its own beauty, which is magnified when perspective allows a comprehensive vision of the whole. That is the beauty of creation. It depends on how we perceive ourselves and if we perceive ourselves as joyful beings that is the very beauty of creation. Creation is after all the consequence of how we determine our presence in this world.

Thanks dear Subra for your interpretation.

Creation is endless variety and we ourselves tend to react differently depending on our emotions at that time. We should not look for homogeneity but accept others as they are as long as they do not harm us.

What else can we hope for in life hereafter. That is why I wonder how heaven will turn out to be, but let us leave that to our Creator! siva
