Mary Bales says she is the most hated woman in England, as in September 2010, she dumped a cat in a wheeliebin. Read on to find out how she was punished.

Justice for the Cat

Mary Bales is now one of the most hated women in England , because she recently dumped a cat in a wheelie bin, and could not explain why. She has had hate mail, death threats, and also lost her job. She describes it as a moment of madness, the cat did nothing to her, and if it hadn’t been for a CCTV camera, this poor animal could have suffocated, for her moment of madness.

She has now appeared in court, and been fined £250, and court costs of £1,000 as well. But the most important thing to come out of this, is she has been forbidden to keep animals of any sort for the rest of her life. That means she cannot inflict any suffering onto any more dumb animals.

The cat did not belong to her, and she has never explained a reason for her moment of madness, but could it be the cat had been in her garden, and this was her revenge? Who knows, but one mad moment has cost her dear, and let us hope it may deter anyone else out there, who might think that was a clever or funny incident, because cats are lovely creatures, and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
The cat is safe with its owners now, and luckily seems none the worse for this experience. Let's hope it can't remember too much about it, or the cruelty of Mary Bales.

Had Mary Bales come forward with some sort of explanation, i.e nervous breakdown I think we would have had more sympathy for her.
