The deep and dark, murky waters of loch ness have now been scanned again and again, and still, no sign of Nessie, because he, or she, does not exist. However, the very fact that he, or she, cannot be seen, makes it even more mysterious.

Legend of the Loch Ness Monster

Like the Yeti, here is another very popular legend that is kept alive by the natives around the famous lake, so they can pass it on to generation after generation, namely, Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.
The name monster, that is tagged to the end of it, seems rather unfitting,as it would probably be a very shy and gentle life-form. Our minds tend to make monsters out of anything large in size, be it human, animal or plant. The animal, if it exists, would be a prehistoric reptilian form of sea life, classified as a pleseasaur. It would have a very long neck and flippers and swim quite swiftly in the sea. It would also have been spotted by now, as it would need to come up for large pockets of oxygen which it would carry in its lungs and then dive back down again in the depths of the sea.
But because, we all love a good mythological legend, our fantasy-side, refuses to let Nessie be proven not to exist. All the photographs taken over the decades have all been proven to be false. The most famous of all, was in fact the long broken branch of a tree.
The deep and dark, murky waters of loch ness have now been scanned again and again, and still, no sign of Nessie, because he, or she, does not exist. However, the very fact that he, or she, cannot be seen, makes it even more mysterious, so the next time, you decide to go scuba-diving into the cold waters of Loch Ness, make sure you take one glance behind you, for you never know when Nessie is going to suddenly appear.

The End.
