A little processing of my process of processing images.... Oh my!

Photo Editing

I absolutely love photography. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming editing all the images! I am sure I should set some defaults in my editing software, but honestly I like to edit each image from scratch as each is unique. There are some “default” settings I change on almost every image, but I do so based on the output I get as I go. Perhaps as I get more experienced I will get down some presets that work well with all of my imagery and then go back to tweak them individually. For now, as I work through each batch I am going one image at a time. Mind you, I take several shots of whatever I am trying to capture like most photographers. This is not just shoot, switch angle, shoot, oh no, it is several of the exact same composition with slight variations in exposure or just several of the exact capture to make sure I get a good image. This method is not sure fire, not every situation ends up being a great photo despite having several snaps to choose from. This is very common to photographers, I know, but I am simply processing my… well… photo processing! The best part is I love it, so even if my eyes start crossing and I am seeing after images even when I get up to get more coffee, I am very content with the work. If it can sustain me and support my family, I will be even more so!

I really enjoy taking pictures too but my camera is not really good enough to take quality pictures so I just have them for my own use.

Mark I finally have a pretty good camera, although I would still be shooting pictures without it! There is something to capturing moments in time that is fascinating. Thanks for the moderation :).

Though I am not into photography I know few who are passionate with endless editing after taking the snaps - siva

The editing can get tedious, although it is a part of the creative process and can also be very enjoyable. I think it is more the crunch to get more done that hammers on me. I just need to enjoy and let the process flow!
