This is a recipe of how to prepare our own isotonic at home, wiht no preservatives nor colorants....a healthy drink for athletes.

Make your own Gatorade (isotonic) at home !!

This is the ideal drink for athletes, an isotonic, as Gatorade, but healthier, with no preservatives nor colorants !!!.
I always have baking soda at hand, to prepare my own gatorade when my sons go out to practise some sport. And it really make them feel better !!! it is ideal to restore energy !! Try it, it is simple!!!
All you need is water
3 lemons
2 spoonful of sugar
1 coffeespoon of salt
1 coffeespoon of baking soda.
Take a bottle of 0.5 leters more or less, with its lid. Pour some water inside, add the sugar, add the juice of the three lemons and add the salt. Put the lid and shake firmly.
At the end, and only at the end, pour the baking soda. As soon as you add the baking soda, put the lid very quickly, for the effervescence might come out of the bottle. Shake it and it is ready to drink.
Caution: open the lid very slowly to avoid effervescence spread over you.
Prepare it the day your are going to use it, it will not last long in the fridge.
