Hyundai has plenty of cars in the Indian market. Santro, Eon, Verna, i10 are some of the few of them. With the success of i10, Hyundai went for a step forward by launching i20.


i20 did pretty well in the Indian market. Based on some research/ survey, Hyundai has recently launched all new i20. The all new i20 is a face lift version of the old i20. It is expected that the old i20 would be discontinued and the new i20 would now be available in the Indian market.

Exciting features

The new i20 as expected as some of the exciting features, which no other Indian hatchback car would offer. This hot car has features which a luxury sedan in India would possess. It is heard that the new i20 would have reverse camera feature and many other features which has not yet been revealed.

It is expected that central locking, power windows, power seats, power steering, key less entry, airbags, anti-lock braking system, new dash board, information display, temperature display, electronically adjusted ORVM, indicators mounted on ORVM, defogger, fog lamps, rear fash wipers, cup holders, Bluetooth connectivity, car stereo, FM, MP3 player, speakers, tweeters and much more would all be a standard offering in the top end variant.

The top end variant would also have a start and stop ignition push button.


Recently Verna looks were changed to the new Fluidic concept. Eon also had Fluidic look. i20 is also expected to have Fluidic looks.

From the front i20 pretty much looks like an i10.


All new i20 would be available in petrol, diesel variants. One of the variant is even having an automatic gearing system.


It is expected that all new i20 would give heavy competiton to the following -

1. New swift;
2. Polo;
3. Fabia;
4. Punto; and
5. Brio.
