Having made a horse, I decide to convert it into an even more elaborate creation - a knight on horse back

Converting the horse into a knight

As a continuation of my previous article, seeing as I have already demonstrated that warriors are can be rendered quite well in tinfoil, I decided to try and convert the horse into a more complex creation, a knight on horseback. The problem here is getting the proportions right since it is difficult to guess at the precise final size of a creation. There is a certain leeway since you can crush creations into slightly smaller sizes if you do so carefully, It took me two tries to get it right, to my satisfaction.

Connecting the knight to the horse

I wanted to establish a firm connection between the two creations so after positioning the knight atop his horse, I wrapper his legs firmly around the horse's chest. I then armed the knight with his lance and shield. The flag of lance was planned in the initial making of the lance and is actually part of the lance. Getting the lance firmly connected to the knight's arm involved placing the arm in an L shape and placing the lance parallel to the horizontal part of the L of the arm and then twinning the two together firmly.
