This is a page about nature and her beauty she has to offer.

Morning Walk

During my morning walk today the air was crisp and clean from the previous night's thunderstorm. First, I was startled by two playful robins that flew by my head chirping up a song to beat the band, and, the one left in the grass flew away with the worm. Soon after, I saw two mourning doves on the side of the path that was startled by my presence as if I walked in on a private affair. I did. Around the curvy path and on my right a quail with his Elvis hair hanging over his eyes strutted off into the thicket ever so slowly. And wouldn't you know it, a little brown rabbit with a white tail hopped along into the brush in front of me. That was a surprise. I felt as if I was walking through a storybook, with the spring air alive and clean and a million birds singing their praise to nature beneath the bluest sky ever.

Music for the Senses

What a beautiful day. The sun is out there, I'm sure; it's just the sun is behind thick clouds that are heavy with moisture as rain falls to earth, cleansing the atmosphere and wetting the woods with much needed water for the trees and the grass and those beautiful wildflowers to grow healthy and bright. It is an amazing and inspirational day to hike the wet Rocky Mountains to see, listen, smell, and feel the dripping rain as it lands ever so gently on everything around making its own music for the soul to enjoy.
