Death as we know it is very sad and spooky . Life after death is something to think on .

The Definition

NDE or Near Death Experience is when an individual is clinically dead and is brought back to life by using modern medicine mostly cardiac resuscitation techniques. NDE happens when an individual looses pulse rapidly and the pulse stops causing the blood pressure to decrease and thus causing shortage of blood to the brain causing death . The heart is made to beat again using CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

What happens during an NDE?

During an NDE the following happen:

*Sense of loosing grip over our body.
*A feeling of approaching towards white light.
*A feeling of sadness.
*The feeling of levitation.
*The visualisation of deceased and loved ones.
*Some cases have seen images of god and religion .

But practically during an NDE all vital signs of life are gone and the affected individual is clinically dead.

What Causes NDE ?

In a scientific age, lack of oxygen, excess of carbon dioxide, seizure activity in the temporal lobe, the effect of drugs such as DMT or ketamine, hallucination, psychological avoidance of death, normal shutting down of brain activity, and a dozen or more other possibilities all cause NDE.

Hoax

No scientific explanation so far has satisfactorily accounted for all aspects of NDEs or their effects. It is found that not all patients with insufficient oxygen have an NDE,even patients with sufficient oxygen supply have experienced NDE.The same is applicable for hallucination, shutting down of brain activity etc.

Here are a few people who suffered NDE.

All Below Individuals have suffered NDE's :

# Book-Return from Tomorrow by George G. Ritchie, MD with Elizabeth Sherrill (1978). George G. Ritchie, MD held positions as president of the Richmond Academy of General Practice; chairman of the Department of Psychiatry of Towers Hospital; and founder and president of the Universal Youth Corps, Inc. He lived in Virginia. At the age of twenty, George Ritchie died in an army hospital. Nine minutes later he returned to life. Ritchie's story was the first contact Dr. Raymond Moody, PhD (who was studying at the University of Virginia, as an undergraduate in Philosophy, at the time) had with NDEs. It inspired Moody to investigate over 150 cases of near-death experiences, in his book Life After Life, and two other books that followed.

Nobody really understand what happens during a near death experience, very interesting though to read stories and gather ideas.

NDE are interesting to me. About 15 years back I read a whole 700 page research book on NDEs.

Fascinating. I have always been intrigued by NDE, especially after my mommom experienced it after a heat attack.
