Another challenge for you creative people. What can you do with circles. Take a look here and see if this can help you get out of a "creator's block"!

What Are Circles?

A circle is either a geometric shape which is perfectly constructed or an organic shape found in the natural environment and in living things, for instance a round leaf or an orange. Organic shapes are typically not made by people while geometric shapes can either be made by individuals or appear naturally.

This is a challenge that will train your eye. Go outside and look for circles, or look around inside your house. As soon as you set your mind to it you’ll be able to find them everywhere; wheels, sliced tomatoes, buttons, dinner plates, flowers etc, etc.

Do the job!

A good idea is to just look for a while without having your camera with you. Just absorb and play around with ideas for future work. Then it won’t be so hard to find inspiration when you actually go out to make art.

The next step is to take the pictures and make them as interesting as possible. Look at the light, the composition and the background. Maybe you can add more circles or even better; bring in some objects that make the circle stand out against them.

Try Again!

Can’t find a circle? Look again, or draw one, paint one or write a story about one! Let your creative juices flow and make art!

If you can transfer this idea onto another craft, please share! I hope this challenge works for those of you who are not photographers as well and that it will help you at times when there seems to be nothing more to create.

Good luck to you!

Try a full rainbow around the Sun that is a full circle. Try creating patterns on lens photography wherein they give different shapes to the way an object is being photographed.
Circles are great from the surface for infinite possibilities but limited if you are within one unless of course it is a circular shield that repels.

Try an aerial shoot, you usually find a lot of circles that can be shot like stadiums, Coliseum etc. Not looking at Nude photography to get other insinuated circular shots.

Yes, Lady Aiyanna! There are so many possibilities if you're looking. Circles from above is a great thing because they are circles you normally don't see and often don't realize exist.
