Some people do not fear their own death, at all. While many people do fear their own.
Here are some reasons why people fear death. Hopefully, this article will help some people overcome their fear of death, or at least, help them understand their fears better.

People Fear Death Because They Fear the Pain

There are three basic reasons why people fear death.

People fear death because they don't like the idea of being in pain. Who likes pain, no one pain is associated with the death process. The more comfortable a human being is at the time of death the easier the process is for them. Changes are taking place in this area every day.

More and more people are opting to die in their homes with their loved ones around them. There is a huge demand for hospice nurses that will go to a home during a person's death process. There is also a strong uprising in the pain management field.

Helping people and the families’ deal with the pain that is all too often accompanied with the death process.

People Fear Death Because of their Attechment to loved Ones

The second reason people fear death is because they fear how their loved ones will get along without them. We all play huge roles in certain people's lives. To worry about how these people will be able to move on without you in the lives, is a very normal part of death. It is part of letting go.

For some people, this is the hardest part of the death process.

People Fear Death Because of the Unknown

The third reason people fear death is because they have no idea what is going to happen to their soul. Fear of the unknown is very common.

These days there are thousands of books and articles writing on the subject of death. You can find as many as you desire to read based on your religious beliefs and spiritual background.

Not all expert agree on the details of what happens during the death process, but they do agree on major points of the death process. Everyone agrees that the soul does leave the body at some point. We review the life, we just lived. We go through some purification process.

And, lastly we are reunited with our loved ones who have passed before us.

My fear of death is being inside a burning building or inside an airplane. I have read books that there is an afterlife.
