A few guidelines to ensure the safety of families going to crowded places
such as the movie theaters, malls and some public assembly areas.

Stampede in a Movie House

All members of my family are avid moviegoers, and in which case, I have always emphasized to them some points to remember by to ensure their safety at all times.
FIRST, when one is in a large confined area such as a movie house, one should seek first the emergency exit. It will only take a few seconds to do it. Once the location of the fire exit is identified, your family would know where to proceed in case of unexpected emergency.
SECOND, plan ahead. Before entering a large confined area, always arrange with every member of the group to agree to meet in one place in case there will be a commotion inside the theater house, if in case one of you get separated from each other. It is better to have two locations set. One inside the venue and another outside.
THIRD, when worse scenario comes to worst, and a stampede occurs, always put both hands on your chest area to prevent any part of your body to get hurt or be pinned down. Move sideways and try to move to the nearest wall on your way to the nearest exit.
Another friendly tip from your fireman friend from this part of the world
