This is an article developed to help christians change from their old habits and become the new creatures in Christ that we were born to be. Through self examination a true transformation can and will take place in good timing and at a steady pace. If that is what you are after this article is for you. It will help you jumpstart your transformation process.

Poetic Lines by Amy Carmichael

Every day presents a new opportunity to extend ourselves to God and to His service. I was reading just yesterday morning a rather lengthy poem written by Amy Carmichael the poem speaks of the love of GOD. Just to share a line or two that impacted my heart the heaviest.

“If I enjoy a joke at the expense of another; if I can in any way slight another in conversation, or even in thought, then I know nothing of Calvary love…
If I take offense Calvary love easily, if I am content to continue in a cool unfriendliness, though friendship is possible, then I know nothing of.”

There is so much more to this poem but these two lines stood out to me today. I thought about the many times that I may have laughed at someone else’s expense or, taken offense at something trivial or, kept myself aloof when friendship was offered and I cried "GOD help me!" It is so very important that we take stock of our lives each and every day we live. There is so much to learn about who we are and how we respond to life and the people we encounter daily. If we are not in control of our habits and ways then how can we expect to be effectively used by the almighty GOD in the fullest capacity? God sees all and he knows all but He is gentle enough to allow us the time we need to see for ourselves; to see what we can change to be more like Him. We do ourselves and the cross a great disservice when we fail to examine ourselves each day. We cheat ourselves out of the "abundant life" that was promised when we do not labor to change for the better, to look and sound more like Christ. The world is looking for real people who have had a real encounter with Christ to help them with their real problems and offer real solutions. We must be real with ourselves, with GOD and with each other, if we are going to change the future generations and claim souls for the cause of Christ.

Today It Is Time To Change!

Today is the day that I choose to begin again, looking inside of me to see what I can change to the glory of GOD The Father. I will watch my mouth and my thoughts and if anything I say or do rises against God's will and way, I will attack it with God’s word and fall out of agreement with it until it has been defeated. Today I will become more conscious of my responses and I will not offend( purposely) any one or take strong offense from any one. I will forgive and release everyone who is sent out against me, in Jesus name. Help us all Lord Jesus, everyone who is in agreement with what you are asking of them to have His way today! I am and I hope you will take the same stand with me. We can honor Him together with a pure heart today! God bless you and your efforts as long as you are in agreement with His will, in Jesus name Amen!
