Smoothies are easy to make. You can use any fruit, which is available to you, and add a little milk, some yogurt and some ice cubes. You can also put additional flavors like sugar or vanilla, depending on your choice.

Summer time offers a great opportunity to enjoy healthy and refreshing simple smoothie recipes. Smoothies, not only cool you in the hot weather, but also provide a delicious medium to get the health benefits from fruits. The best thing about smoothies is that, you can be creative and experiment with what your favorite flavor is. For instance, I love mangoes and raspberries. And, I suggest you not to use sour citrus fruits like grapefruits in your smoothies. It may turn out to be bitter and off the taste.

Some tips for Simple Smoothie Recipes for additional punch and flavor:

1) Try adding cream of coconut to a recipe.

2) You can also play around and experiment with different juices including vegetable juices, e.g. beetroot. This gives added advantage to your smoothie for its nutritional benefits, without having to compromise with the taste.

3) Again, you can try adding a couple of carrots or celery to the smoothie recipe. Once it is blended nobody will know it is an extra healthy smoothie.

4) You can add up to 1 tablespoon honey for more naturally sweeter flavor.

5) Add oat bran, almonds or wheat germ for additional healthy nutrition.

6) If you are using canned fruits, then include the leftover juice for additional flavor.

7) If you are not too much calorie conscious, you can add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to your smoothie recipe, to give it extra creamy flavor.

8) You can play around and exchange milk for juice or juice for the milk in any smoothie recipe.

Below are some of the easiest, simplest and most delicious smoothie recipes:

1) Jello Smoothie Recipe
Small package of Jell-o or gelatin, any flavor
½ Cup milk
½ cup fruit or 1 fruit of choice
½ cup ice cubes
1 Cup yogurt, any flavor
Add ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.

2) Tropical smoothie recipe
¼ cup crushed pineapple with juice
¼ cup milk
½ cup lemon juice
1 cup yogurt
1 orange peeled and separated
Mix ingredients all together and blend until smooth.

3) Protein Smoothie Recipe
Add a scoop or 1 oz. of protein powder to any smoothie recipe.

4) Healthy Orange Smoothie
½ cup ice cubes
¾ cup sliced peaches (if canned use juice also)
1 cup orange yogurt
1 orange peeled and separated
Mix it well in the smoothie maker until smooth.
You can also substitute peaches with another fruit like banana or a can of mandarin oranges, if desired.

5) Strawberry Banana Smoothie
½ cup milk
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana sliced in pieces
2 cups orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
Pour the ingredients together in blender and blend until smooth.

i need a realy simple smoothie recipe i have..... orange juice, milk, bananas, apple, ice and pinapple juice!!! please can u give me a idea of what i could do!!!
