Be YOU and don't apologize for it! What is holding you back from being YOUrself? Do you compare and contrast often?

Good Morning Everybody ...

Do you ever feel like you say "I'm sorry" just for being you? Have you ever walked away from a situation or a conversation thinking: Why did I do that? Why did I say that? Why am I like that? Why didn't I say this?

You ever wish you had been created differently? You ever get to the point where you wished you could be you and not have to apologize for it all the time?

I bet at some point or another you wished you were someone else, didn't you?

Well, If that's the case, you're not alone so grab yourself some coffee and find yourself a soft spot to park.

How to actually be YOU without apologizing.

I long for a day when us, girls, women, can be who He has blessed us to be. I long for a day when us girls ... women ... can woMAN UP. We talk big and we talk strong within ourselves. We talk about how we want to BE something. SO GET UP AND BE THAT THING. Quit blowing smoke up your butt. For the love of your family, yourself, God, if you believe in a higher power ... GET UP AND BE THAT THING!

Ok, I will apologize for being a little rough here. Kidding! Seriously, even I need a good swift quick in the right direction every now and then. There is something so beautiful and inspiring when you're in your element and you shine! Sometimes you get so passionate about something you ... you fly like an eagle! You did what you believed in, you were passionate about something that means something to you. YOU were you without apologizing

Be YOU without apologizing

Ok, let's be honest with each other for a moment. Us girls, women, have the uncanny crazy ability to compare ourselves with others. Right? I mean ... we do it with such ease. I mean, we whine and beat ourselves for "not" being able to do something or not being good enough, but when it comes to comparing ourselves to Marie, Anne and Sophie? Oh boy ... we got this one down pat, don't we?? Oh hell yea we do.

~ She's a better mom than me.

~ She is prettier than me.

~ Her hair, the way she dresses and matches, she's perfect.

~ I wish I could dress like her.

~ I wish my man was like hers.

~ I wish I was skinny like her. I'm so fat.

Why do we do that? We're all equally guilty of it. Just a few weeks ago I was complaining of being too fat and not being pretty enough. lol I've come a long way as I'm sure you all have. Although we grow up somewhat ... we still find ourselves doing it from time to time because we're human. It's not an excuse.

~ She's such a good mom.

~ I love her hair style.

~ She's so adorable and always looks so put together.

~ They are so cute together.

~ Her time at the gym is paying off and her healthy eating inspires me.

See? You turned a negative into a positive..

So -- How do you be YOU without apologizing?

~ Turn your comparisons into admiration.
~ Compliment, compliment, and more compliments. Do try to be genuine
~ Think before you speak. Use your truth and love compass. It will guide you.
~ Be confident[/b]/i] and know who you are.
~ Be nice. Be Kind
~ Please understand that you are only human. Sometimes you say or do things without thinking and when you do, you will need to apologize for it. You have to apologize when necessary because that way you CAN be YOU. You understand?

And last but not lease ...

~ Guard your heart. If your heart isn't pretty than being you without apologizing doesn't work. You know what I mean? If you're not good inside, your heart is ugly -- you can't be free to be yourself. Get your heart right. Our birth, our existence is a miracle. A blessing. When you allow that humble notion to work inside you than the freedom to be you comes along.

What have you overcome to be be YOU without apologizing? Do you have something to ask or share with us? Share in the comments bellow.

Well y'all ... it's time to start the day with a song.

Today's song of the day is Redneck woman by Gretchen Willson. Love that song ... lol

Let me hear a big Hell Yea!

lol I wish you all a great day today. Be good to one another and don't take your freedom for granted because it's not a given for everybody to do so.

And one more thing ... HA ... you thought I forgot? lol

SMILE! ... You're all on life's candid camera!

Great points! We have to stop comparing ourselves, and love us the way we are.
