Can can you insure that a fragile item will make it through the mail system in one piece? Look no further. This article will explain.

How to Ship Breakable Mugs

What would you do if you had to ship a ceramic mug worth $100.00 or more knowing that if for some reason it arrived broken you would have to refund all of the money that was paid to you?

Shipping mugs has become my way of life, and the crux of my online retail business. Here are some tips for packing up valuable fragile items like coffee mugs to be shipped out and sent all over the world.
You must always keep in mind that the postal service is not going to go out of their way to make sure your package marked fragile ends up at its final destination in one piece. That my friend is your job. How you pack the mug will determine whether or not it arrives intact or not. Tissue paper, bubble wrap, a piece of cardboard or small mug box if you have it, and filler (more bubble wrap, packing peanuts, packing paper and so forth) are all necessary for proper packing.

Step One: Wrap the mug in tissue paper.
Step Two: Wrap the Mug in Bubble Wrap.
Step Three: Place the Piece of Cardboard Around the Mug or at Least Around the Handle.
Step Four: Wrap the mug a Second Time with Bubble Wrap.
Step Five: Pack the Wrapped Mug in your Box with the Filler.
