Dust Strom hit Doha a few days back... It's very dusty around here and everything needs cleansing.

Dust dust everywhere...

Just after 3 days of severe stormy condition everything is covered by a dusty layer.
I closed the door and all the windows tightly as soon as I noticed the sand storm, but dust finds all back doors to come in.

:(

My entire home is under a thick layer of dust now. I know… it will take my 2 or 3 days to make all the stuff clear.

My laptop...

My laptop was also an innocent victim of the dust storm. My lappy... my best friend, covered all in dust.
I wasn't mentally prepared to see my best friend in this condition. It looks neglected and discarded :(

What to do...

I started sympathizing with my laptop now and wondering how to help it… suddenly an idea struck my mind and I started searching different websites for cleaning process of laptop on your own and found this one on YouTube…

Do it yourself...

After watching YouTube video, I took vinegar 2 teaspoon, distilled water 2 teaspoon, a cotton ball, a cotton bud, a toothpick and a piece of cotton fabric for cleaning the screen, the keyboard and the body of my laptop...
After 10 minutes of full concentration it is done…and believe me it is shining & smiling now :)

Have a look at my laptop now :)

Whatever God put in dust it's amazing. There's nothing closed tight enough for it. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! This is a great article for me as I face similar situation many a times in the year as our farm is located in sandy area! So far I simply used to use my vacuum cleaner to get the sand particles and dust particles out of my Lap Top! I will definitely try the method explained by you to clean my Lap Top in future! Thanks !

Nice tips. Dust is the number one enemy of your laptop indeed! And should also consider opening it to clean the internal parts too.

Using this solution for laptop never occurred to me somehow. Will certainly give it a try someday considering that yours is working well still, mine will remain fine too ;)
