Walk slowly and tread lightly on God's wonderous earth
There are creatures here, they need their well-earned space
Let us grant them their lives and appreciate their worth
Safe to thrive and live with us, they all deserve their place.

The Beauty of a Spider's Web.

The amazing beauty of a spider's web, glistening, sparkling,
The night sky as a backdrop and the wonder of a delicate lace.
Of silver tracings, entrancing, fascinating, patterns gracing
My home, capturing my eyes, just before they touched my face.

I gazed into the wonderous maze to find this artist in space
How could a spider weave and carry his web across my home,
A miracle of nature's design and art spread out before my gaze
No human hand should ever reach out, a miracle to erase.

The Power of A Spider.

The entrance to my home now blocked by this fascinating creature,
He sat upon the fascia and perched atop the Union Jack
He seems to wave his tiny arms and pleads for me to let him stay
I understood and left my car outside and entered through the back.

Thank God I saw this spider before I blundered through his web
He had found his way into my heart, there was no doubt at all
Next morning I remembered but he had left his place above my door
I had loved him for his God-given strength and he was just so small.

SPIDER PICTURE

I have no explanation for this incredible picture. I cannot understand how the web seems to envelop the house. The spider is an opalescent image with two raised, tiny hands, as if to plead for my acknowledgement. I acknowledge him with love, acceptance and amazement, He is a precious gift to be treasured.
I used an HP Photosmart camera.

Have you noticed it how slowly and repeatedly they do it? I just stunned to see their geometrical knowledge and architect sense. I praise Thee, who gave them so talent in the tiny head. I am amazed that you have got the right stuff. Thanks.

What a brilliant article with an awesome picture I was only watching one the other night on our condo balcony in Quebec. I can confirm that French Canadian spiders build there webs the same way as any other spider in the world
Best Wishes
Steve

Steve: Thanks for your comment. Do you wonder how the web is begun? How does the spider cross he first time?

Thanks for embracing the spider too, Ivy, as some detest them. All have to be given their space just as we protect ours. Lovely poem, pictures and message of love and creation - siva

Wow, Ivyevelyn, wow, what a phenomenal poem. Now I see the spider and the webs in a different light. But I am still scared of spiders! And I do agree they make magnificent webs!
Have a great night!
