Wedding Trousseau

Trousseau shopping is something every Indian bride-to-be looks forward to. While some start assembling their trousseau after the fixation of the wedding day, there are some brides who start accumulating things like clutches and jewellery from a young age. Whatever be the case, here is a short list of items you must have in your wedding trousseau:

1.Indian attires
With such stunning styles available nowadays, Indian in no way is boring. Include rich, embroidered suits, as well as kurtis that you can pair with leggings, wide-leg pants, long skirts, or even trousers, in your trousseau. Also carry some nice sarees that you will surely need in the near future.

2.Heels and flats
A few pairs of classy heels are an absolute must-have in your wedding trousseau. Invest in some comfortable heels in colours like black, beige, and gold that will complement either traditional or Western attire or both. Since going out for dinners to the homes of members of extended family is pretty common after Indian weddings, you would need some nice pair of heels as well as ethnic flats.

Now you wouldn’t want to go to your new home without some chic clutches in different colours, would you? Since a newly-wed couple always receives attention from all around, you must make sure you have nice clutches in black, silver, and gold that would go well with your suits and sarees. You could even go for clutches that aren’t heavily embellished so that you can also use them for your gowns and dresses as well.

With so much work, one may forget other items of the trousseau, but can never forget to collect jewellery. Instead of investing in something trendy at that point of time (you can always go as per the trends later), buy classics such as solitaire earrings and rings, gold and diamond bangles, pretty pearl jewellery etc. from various jewellers in Delhi.

5.Beauty essentials
A make-up box containing all beauty essentials such as moisturiser, sunscreen, cleanser, concealer, lipsticks, foundation, powder, etc. is something you should never forget to carry to your new house.

6.Stylish scarves
Scarves go well with everything. From shirts to coats, tees to tops- they complement all. Long scarves can even be used as dupattas with suits. So make sure you have your collection of stylish scarves ready before the wedding day.
Also, jewellery being the most expensive of all, make sure you only choose the best bridal jewellery shops in Delhi. All the best for everything!

Thanks Ekta for a unique share, sort of, in this site.

Men cannot catch up with women in this regard though some do justice to their attire. I like to merge with the crowd than stand out! When I travel alone, no check-in baggage!

But I do enjoy such posts to keep up to date with the younger generation and even some older! siva
